Who needs clean water, air, and soil? If profit is to be made from polluting inner cities and rural areas, so be it. If you don’t like it you can move to an upper class gated community on a hill in the suburbs. Your home will come with an excellent water filtration system and the best electro-static and ultra-violet air scrubbers and clean soil is available if you want an organic garden. If you can’t afford such a home, how is that anyone else’s problem? You were not born from the right parents, only the chosen few deserve the fruits of society, everyone else is a peasant to be enslaved by the maddening thirst for money and power they can never have.

I am not some "other American." I was born and raised here since 1957 by American's who were born and raised here in 1934 by American's who were born and raised here in 1895.
I will never drop "the baggage" which is my country. You have a very short window of observation time and watch too much TV to have any clue of what the hell I am talking about. You may figure it out in twenty or thirty years, but it will be too late then.
The land with the most laws is not the most free. The land with the largest economic gap between the wealthy and the working is not the most thriving. The land where the political parties only serve the corporate lobbyist is not the most democratic. Our founders warned this would happen if we fell asleep. Read about fifty good US history books and get back to me.

I do this now and then to try and remember why I like Tribes, otherwise it gets old fast and I have been on here a fairly long time and have a large number of folks who tend to agree with a lot of my "rants."
I have come to understand that lables don't mean anything. When I am greeted with insults, I figure I have someone that either can't think of something better to say or someone who reacts defensively to either bully me away or engage me in more conversation.
Interestingly, I always find we all have a lot more in common than imagined due to the labels we paste on each other and the labels come from the mass media that constantly surrounds us.
I am too tired now to write and I have to get up fairly early. I really don't want a contest, but I will drop in again.
